What can you do with geography?

These maps are beautiful and informative enough taken as a whole, but the details capture their personality and essence best.

SVA iXd alumni Gene Lu sent me the link to this amazing globe, 20 feet in diameter, made up of over 10,000 OLED panels (10 times the resolution of ordinary LEDs). Sort of the modern-day equivalent of the Mapparium, but instead of walking through it, one walks around it.
